Today I’m thankful for our new-to-us home. 

 

I’m thankful for:

 

TWO full bathrooms

windows that OPEN

closets with LIGHTS

an ATTACHED GARAGE

(with an electric door opener)

a covered FRONT porch

a covered BACK porch

a FENCED IN backyard

a PAVED driveway

a quiet, cul-de-sac STREET

CARPET

(helps with the noise and is cozy on bare feet)

a HUGE kitchen bar

a new fridge with an ICE MAKER

a new-to-us GIANT deep freezer

shady TREES in the backyard

(and brightly colored leaves to play in)

a GARBAGE disposal

a massive PANTRY

 

 

We are living like royalty in this 30 something year old, brick rancher.  With brown/gold carpet and metal windows.  With minor repairs that need to be done to the sheet rock.  We are living it up.  We ARE in the minuscule percentage of the world’s population. Today I’m thankful that we are cuddled up in our mansion, warm, dry, fed, healthy and together.
