Our homeschool co-op took a trip to the Tennessee Valley Fairgrounds for the “Down on the Farm” event. It was a great field trip because even though it was hot and during nap time, everything was FREE (even the parking)!

Foster was really excited because he met up with a friend that he hadn’t seen since Spring co-op classes.

I really need to get me a hat like this!

We had the sweetest teenager as our “guide”. He kept lifting up Theodore and Parker so they could see over the crowds. After chatting with him I realized one thing that made him such a sweet 17 year old. He is one of SIX brothers!

Unfortunately, Parker misunderstood this lady’s presentation on what veggies are used to make pizza. He kept thinking we were actually going to get some pizza.

Katie’s favorite was the horses.

The boys’ favorite was this longhorn.
